Good Evening!
My name is Marcus Rodriguez.
I am a fly fishing guide here in good ol’ Texas. I have lived in Texas all my life. My family has been in Texas since the very beginning. I am married to Angela, who is an avid angler as well, and her roots in Texas are even deeper than my own. I have two daughters named Aurelia and Ava.
As far as fishing in Texas, it is in my blood, and I think about exploring and fishing rivers on a daily basis. My guide service is called the Guides of Texas and we have been in operation since 1998. My guiding partner is Johnny Quiroz and at this moment he is on an Alaskan adventure. Me, I travel here and there, but Texas is my home and it is where I have had the most enjoyable fishing.
I decided to start this blog, but I wanted to keep it seperate from The Guides of Texas. Mainly, I am looking to document anything to do with fishing in Texas and even other places around the world. I want to explore fishing opportunites, with a fly rod or a spinning rod, and my point and shoot camera. This blog is a work in progress. As I start to figure out what I want to do, a reader will see more and more information. I do think I can keep up with almost daily information. I am looking forward to writing and getting feedback from others.
Good job!!!
Link is complete, tell me if you like it. Also, if you don’t want it on the website, I can take it off. I realized I really didn’t ask you if you wanted on the website or not but I figured you would since it will only increase your traffic. It looks great so far. Laters.
Marcus,
I’d like for you to guide me and possibly my girlfriend sometime in late spring/early summer. I used to guide on the same rivers and places, which seems like a lifetime ago and have very fond memories and plenty of respect for what you are doing. love your blog and photos.
Best Regards,
Dan

Hello Dan-
I recognized your name. When me and Johnny started guiding, you had already been guiding for a while. You are one of the trailblazers! I would be more than happy to guide you and your girlfriend. Give me a yell whenever. I am glad you like the blog and photos.
Take Care

I have been trying to get to re contact Ken Prehoditch for years. I was great friends with him in Fort Worth before moving back to England. Could you give me an e-mail or phone number.
Hugh Martyr
Sorry this reply has been so long in coming. I have been out and about and not able to keep up with this blog as much as I would like to. Ken is one of our top clients. He is a fishing machine!
His phone number is 817.626.7046. Hope you get in contact with him.
